Is it weird if your spouse isn't your best friend?

@NinaTina I was never really one to wanna be in a relationship with a friend because I was afraid it would ruin our friendship if things didn't work out.

@WendyLopez43 if there's unrequited love by one party, the friendship is ruined anyway. Why not give a shot?

@basilfawlty89 I did date a friend once who I had known since elementary school but it turned out we didn't have much chemistry as a couple. Dating friends seemed less appealing to me after that.
