Is is normal to think your partner is out of your league?

Iwillwait · M
No, not normal. Don't do that. No one is out of your league.
No, unless you both play different sports
DaughteroftheMoon · 26-30, F
it depends on which field you measure who is in which league... is it based on physical appearance or business success? Social status?
DaughteroftheMoon · 26-30, F
@WendyLopez43 then you're a lucky girl.. don't stress yourself, but work on yourself and try to be happy and satisfied next to you.. If he sees you as an equal partner, why would you feel that way?
WendyLopez43 · 26-30, F
@DaughteroftheMoon I guess the crowd he's usually with (ala other rich people) makes me feel I'm outta place sometimes. Parties and charity events and such.
DaughteroftheMoon · 26-30, F
@WendyLopez43 I understand you, over time that feeling will disappear... I know exactly that feeling, I once had it in the company of my partner, the feeling that you don't belong to that group of people... but don't let it make you feel bad, because you are his choice ..

It's within the range of normal. If you're talking about yourself, have more confidence, though! You are interesting and attractive and don't need to feel anyone is out of your league.

Tragically yes. I've definitely been into some people that I think are much cooler than me. 😄
