Yes, except for a rare few. I'm very introverted and don't like people in my space. If it's someone whose vibe matches mine, then I'm okay with them visiting, but if they cancelled I wouldn't be bothered by it.

YES...since my Mil passed in March my Fil has been at my house every weekend....so hopefully one weekend he won't come.

After hosting almost every weekend in the spring, summer and fall, it does feel good to get a weekend off.

Yes, I don't really care for people in my house for a weekend, I don't even like it when my own children come for a weekend or extended stay. I don't care for people trying to find their way to the bathroom in the middle of the night waking me, I enjoy my privacy, I am uncomfortable staying in someone else's home because I don't want to be waking them up either. I stay in a camper or hotel when I visit others.

I’ll spoil myself then.. the bright side is I don’t have to sweat anymore.
