I don't think it's racist. My mother felt like you. I'm black and my mother wouldn't allow us to date anyone outside of our race. I did in secret though my dad knew but my mom didn't and I didn't dare go against her. I ended that relationship and ended up marrying someone in my own race.

But the fact that you mention about how you prefer your kids to look like you, that sounds racist.

Ask yourself, what is wrong if your kids look like them (others you don’t prefer) ? Would you consider your future kids not acceptable looking if they are not white like you?

Dominant and recessive genes lead factors of your kids looked like. If you have dominat, that is good but you have recessive one, mostly your kids will take their father's side.
