Does anybody hear write fanfiction?

Often times when I feel myself getting deeply involved with a TV series, movie, or certain character, I start to rewrite my own version of the story or person in my head. I guess in a way creating my own fanfiction. I’ve even thought about writing these stories down. Does anyone else experience this or do these things? Or write your own fanfiction?

@TexasDude what is your writing based off of? Anything specific like movies, TV shows or characters? Or do you write about specific periods in time?

@DisarrayedNightshade I've done mostly anime and some American cartoons. I usually try to make stories that could be extra episodes and would fit in nicely.

I also sometimes novelize video games
