I Like to Read

I haven't read in so long. I have tried many times to get back into it but I just can't find books that hold my attention. Does anyone else have this problem? It's frustrating.

This happened to me with the public library. There are so many books here! How can I not find one I like?! I'd read all their Neal Shusterman books (my favorite author) and stories that were similar. But beyond those all I've found are books with POTENTIAL. I would read this if this was a bit different kinda thing. Has anyone read the book "Bitterblue"? Good lord I loved that world. The characters were awesome and the magic of the world was amazing. But it was too dragged out for my liking. They described what felt like everything in specific detail and it was taking too long for anything to happen. Ten chapters in and I wasn't sure what the main problem was. I had to put it down but it was with much sadness. Maybe one day I'll go back to it but for now I'm still searching.

Yes I have the same problem. It is so hard for me to read a book nowadays. I love reading but every since I found EP my reading has almost been totally shut down all I want to do is EP
from the time I wake up in the morning till I go to bed at night some nights I struggle to stay awake just to be able to say hi to one more friend. I feel like it has consumed my whole life and yet I love it.
I found the best answer for me is Audible. I love Francine Rivers her books are so inspirational and most of the time they really hit home.
If it wasn't for audible I don't know how I would ever get your read a book.

To find a book that will hold your attention, read books that are about things you like to do or would like to learn more about, Happy Reading.

All. The. Time. I hate getting half way into a book and throwing it aside because it doesnt interest me. Im sure its a good book to some people, but im not interested.

The fear of wasting my time actually leads me to avoiding picking up new books. Its like a cycle of wishing i could find a book that i will like, but not wanting to waste my time investing myself in a book a wont.

Le sigh...

It must be impossible to read every good book, but the good books are flooded in a printed wave of pure garabage!!!

There are so many books where an author takes 10 pages to make a single point. What a waste of time. /:
