I just found The Haunting of Hecate Cavendish, by Paula Brackston, at my local library, and SHE has "just" become an assistant librarian in a museum library, located inside a cathedral! It's a good book so far!
I remember that, before Covid, my library had a seating area with sofas, surrounded by periodicals, and that was a perfect place to sit and read on a rainy day. I could pop up when I got bored, and go find ANOTHER book about antiques!
