@Ozymandiaz i'm not even joking I have been gathering inspiration from him by watching interviews for some time now. his perspective on writing is brilliant

I had no idea he wrote something like this. I appreciate your thoughtful answer so much. I can't wait to get my hands on this.
@DeluxedEdition It is part memoir part writing advice and a lot of other little details about where he gets his inspiration.

You are very welcome 🙏

Clive is quite the excellent author.
Have you ever had the opportunity to read his Novels?

I have one you may like! It’s fiction and is called a court of thorns and roses by Sarah J Mass. it’s a very good read and has inspired me to write better as well! I am currently working on several of my own books that I hope to one day publish! I wish you the best of luck! Have a great day and stay safe!

I sent for Where the Craw-Dads Sing by Delia Owens,a friends suggestion....
bookerdana · M
@Montanaman Nope,I only talked to my friend a day ago....and saw the movie that night...as Flannery
O'Connor did not say, A good recommender is hard to find...but its true nonetheless...spell check does not like "recommender"!😀

@bookerdana It's one instance where the book and movie doesn't disappoint 👍👍♥️♥️😎

@Montanaman I liked the movie, the lead actress was brilliant but it only got ⭐⭐s on Roger Ebert .com...they groused that too much is tied up neatly in the last scenes bu I'd add,"t what was there was excellent"

I Highly recommend this one.

I'm reading "Summer of Deliverance" written by James Dickey's son Chris (NBC Middle East Bureau Chief) about the making of the film.

Right now they are all in a swimming hole making pig squeal jokes

Have you read Eleanor Oliphant?
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
Hmm...any specific genres you like?
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@basilfawlty89 the only genres i DONT like are romantic, mystery, and drama. I want to read a book and feel a positive emotion.

romantics are positive but they usually are not realistic. which is what i don't like about it
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@DeluxedEdition hmm. If you're into classics:

The Picture of Dorian Gray
The Fall of the House of Usher
The Importance of being Ernest
The Rubaiyat
The Shahnameh
War and Peace
The Shining
The Hellbound Heart
