I was twelve when my family moved to Ireland and I became fascinated with the myths and legends surrounding it. Leprechauns, banshee, kelpie, you name it. As I've got older I became more interested in nature's side of things but with a little bit of the myth and legend thrown in. So I've started to read these four books by Niall Mac Coitir. Fascinating discovery of ancient knowledge and beautifully illustrated books. Sit under an old tree for some summer indulgence. Glass of wine optional.
