@SW-User virtually always fiction, but any genre except sci-fi and fantasy.

@Lugwho Not sure... I read it fairly quickly. However... I've seen a bunch of reviews on Frank Herberts' Dune. And I think it really depends on the reader, more then with most other books. Especially his first book, is written in a way that the overall majority of novels aren't. You get full knowledge, of every important category. Nothing is hidden, thoughts are expressed all the time. You know exactly what is going to happen and who is going to do "it"... there is a point too this way of dealing with his audience. The funny thing is, that a lot people are still duped at the end of the novel.

@Lugwho Well... the original movie, is also "David Lynch"... You either love him or hate him. LOL
Also, David Lynch... misrepresents the book. His movie misses the point completely.
According to Lynch, he was also pressured to not follow his script, because of producers wanting to earn money.
