A curriculum is forming

This is a huge reason i'm on this site, to just say what i'm reading, it may come off as bragging, but it really feels wonderful to be reading the classics, yes classics in general, not just from Antiquity.

Kafka's The Trial
Shakespeare's Hamlet
and Milton's Paradise Lost

There's a burning desire to cover what can be termed The Literary Canon

I want to be inclusive, of all kinds that are there in my trusty lil device

From all the major Faith traditions, I have for example the Sikh scripture. But i'd be more privy to the Upanishads.

The spotty linear progression of philosophy, it bugs me that I haven't been able to get my hands on guys like Lessing, in the next generation if the world ain't kaput yet, those thinkers will get their due.

In Psychology a huge deal would be that 800 dollar collected works of Jung. And wouldn't that be something if I saw a souped up edition of some Alfred Adler the lesser talked about Psychiatry guy of the big 3, I need not mention the cocaine addict, we all know who that was.

But the main focus is Literary, Plato is Literary, and the Greek tragedians, and a whole lot else from that time and place.

The sub-focus remain Antiquity (Greco-Roman) and along there is the very much needed Stoic trinity in the extent literature, my fave is Epictetus.

For Black authors I have some like James Baldwin, Toni Morrison and Maya Angelou

Brazilian sources Lispector and De Assis

But I mustn't be exhaustive here, i'll share a list by my b-day towards the end of the month, it shall be like a hypothetical and magisterial curriculum Year 1 of 10, I hope to live 20 years, 2 years for each curriculum Year ... ahh what fun!! I gotta make coffee and read in the living room dad shall be out for his coffee and hugging time soon, he needs those hugs as he's having a rough time about this car thing, he wants to sell his scooters.
