I loved it. It gave me a lot.
Actually I read the 5th agreement. Which contains the four, in detail, plus one.
I won't give a spoiler... Read it.. it's beautiful, people say many things but I think it's great and makes someone a better person if in fact opens up themselves to it and actually try to practice. Those agreements aren't his though but parts of the Toltecs wisdom.. however that reached out days

yes / hot garbage
be honest, don't take it personally, don't assume, always do your best. not helpful in real life... like, 'don't assume.' ok, how do i uncover the personal bias and understand the thought patterns that lead me into assuming and avoid it in the future? 'always do your best', uh ok and how to i set real goals and measure personal progress...? Ruiz doesn't go deeper. people who think following these '4 agreements' will solve all their problems are going to be in for a shocking disappointment when real life hits them square between the eyes. different people have different needs and live in different circumstances and need more than superficial platitudes..
