Marx is like the Bible, the Quran, and Darwin. People have opinions on them without reading them because those books are part of the culture. So you dont have to read them to be aware of their effects.
That being said, I wrote a point by point analysis of The Communist Manifesto where I show how Marx got it only half correct.
