Badly written books ?

I was looking for something by Erik Larson, whose books I like. Came up with one by Erik J. Larson but didn't notice he's a different author

The Myth of Artificial Intelligence

This is a really terrible book: It uses so much jargon and trying-to-sound-clever writing that once I laboriously unravel one of its obscure, convoluted passages I often find it's about something I already knew (and so would anyone else with a bit of common sense.)

That is one of the features I hate in a book as well. A good book is one where there is a logical sequence of explanations without using too much of analogy. Else, it could be more artistic in nature bringing out human emotions. Jargons and random flowery statements are annoying and cringe.

Yeah ive been reading a light novel that gets worse and worse. Its starting to become monotone. Giving too many points of views of other characters. Uses run on sentences constantly. And says former and latter constantly as well. Honestly. Its disappointed me. Meh
It’s like the pain of LOTR…
Written before television.
So Tolkien describes every damn step Frodo takes..
we get it bro .. Mordor is a horrible place..

Move on
