What is the worst book you have read?

Has anyone given you a book that even by just looking at the cover, you know it will go straight into the bin? A collegue gave me one of her favourite Mills and Boon stories to read called: 'The Surgeon's Touch'. She is currently reading: 'Sinfully Yours'.

"To hell with ye!"
1. ALL Mills and Boon.
2. Wilbur Smith's River God. 500 pages felt like 1,500.
3. The Fifty Shades series, including the film.
4. The Da Vinci Code.

Fifty Shades is by far top of the list for me. Da Vinci Code is better written, but I'm just not interested by the ludicrous plot.

The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail. We read it in school, I tried to give it a chance, and it was literally the worst thing I have ever read in my life.

The worst book was some giant novel my friend's mom gave to my brother back in the 90's.. it was gross and vile and supposedly christian but creepy af and not for kids or anyone.. what the hell .. before giving books to children people should read them themselves first 😳😳
