What is the last book you’ve read? Did you like it?

Slavomir Rawicz was a young Polish cavalry officer. On 19 November 1939 he was arrested by the Russians and after brutal interrogation he was sentenced to twenty-five years in a gulag.

I think this has got to be one of the most interesting books I have read for a long time. I could not believe how much hardship they had to endure and how they were able to keep walking every day. The kindness of the people they met on the way who fed them and gave them shelter was a lesson in humanity. Everyone should read this book to wonder at the sheer determination of the human spirit.
[big][c=A69800]There is a book I have been reading. Stopped reading but started again..nearly finished but these books are interesting as they are a lot. Some are to do with psychology, philosophy, people who where speaking up against things that happened in the past and more..

They are good books and learn things also history.

Hmmm almost finished. I have another one but don't really wanna read that anytime soon.. (Thin-ish books)

I might read a different book instead when this one is finished. The one that I want to read is much bigger as loads of pages but this also looks back at history and more things, which many people do not know about.[/c][/big]

I don't remember the last one I finished. But the last one I have almost finished is a comic self help book by Elizabeth Gilbert called "Creative Living beyond fear" which helped me start with creative projects and that's why I haven't finished it. 😂

Currently I'm reading a random romantic book about a daughter who had cliché romantic parents who fell inlove in Paris. But she herself is very anti all that until she suddenly gets a huge crush on a neighbor who's having a partner. It's, funny, a nice feel good reading.

Just finished When Darkness Falls by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory. The third, and final book in a fantasy series. Am niw working on Dr Syn by Russell Thorndike. It was written in 1915 and is the basis for a series of episodes that were on Disney's Wonderful World of Color years ago that was called Dr Syn alis The Sarcrow. I had started it earlier now I'm going back to finish it.

Three weeks with my brother - Nicholas Sparks

I've read it before but reread it just a couple of weeks ago. I can relate to a lot of what he said and I have a brother that's kind of like Nicks brother Mica.

I'm currently reading Worlds Greatest Speeches
Proverbs. No. It reads like a list of sayings and is hard to follow or remember. 😅

@Colonelmustardseed A more enjoyable read because they are actually songs.

@Colonelmustardseed They are even more interesting if you know something about Hebrew poetry.

I am reading Samuel Adams. What an amazing bad ass man he was. Never given enough credit for his role in the American Revolution
