Penpal by Dothan Auerbach
Its pretty dark though.
Im starting off on Douglas Adam, the salmon of doubt as I somehow never read it, or forgot that I read it.
Ooo and my favorite book, A confederacy of Dunces or the good earth are my go to favorites. And basically anything written by Stephen Elliot because I am deeply in love with his writing style. I think I would read his grocery lists and be in awe.

I wish I could concentrate long enough to read, the last I read was in my university years and it was a finance text book.

I am going blind and can't read real books anymore. Only ebooks on my tablet. Looking forward to John Sandford's new mystery, Righteous Prey. About 112 people ahead of me on the waiting list at the library.

I just finished The Thursday Murder Club. Honestly... tried hard to enjoy it but probably didn't.

@K1llYourDumplings people love them, they're quaint murder mysteries set in an old people's home, four of the residents meet up to solve cold cases but then get swept up in a real murder.
I just couldn't suspend disbelief for some reason.

@OhIsMe hmm maybe I should give it a try. And then, when I realise it's shit and I'm disappointed, I can come back and blame you.
