What is a good word to use for when something is rapidly decreasing or lowering?

We say something is sky rocketing when it's rapidly increasing like a rate or level, so what about if something is being depleted? I have to sleep and Google won't tell me, so I'm leaving this in your hands. NO PRESSURE
