Sorry Canada

For anyone confused about CANADIAN TUXEDO.....GOOGLE FOR REFERENCE. I swear I didn't make it up as an attack on Canada 🤣

Deepest apologies to Canadians if I've offended your tuxedo. I'm terrible sorry

Deepest apologies to users on here that were seriously offended by this post or double denim jokes or offended by Sydney Sweeney or large breasts or blonde hair or Abercrombie or fitch or finches or anything about memes period. I'm terribly sorry.

Blonde hair in one ad, natural brunette hair in the next. What was that you were saying about double denim?
KentuckyFriedFloozy · 26-30, F
@swirlie it shouldn't be worn by anyone at anytime at anyplace.

@KentuckyFriedFloozy
Who told you that? Was it Sydney?
KentuckyFriedFloozy · 26-30, F
@swirlie no, she's apparently telling us to wear it. Her and Abercrombie. I like Abercrombie too. But double denim looks awful.

@KentuckyFriedFloozy
Oh! I see where you're going with all this!

Because you don't wear double denim yourself, only because you think it looks awful, you have decided that double denim shouldn't be worn by anyone at anytime at anyplace either... have I got that part straight?
KentuckyFriedFloozy · 26-30, F
@swirlie it kinda doesn't look good on most people to be fair. And most people don't even wear double denim at all.

But overall it's a meme playing off if the Sydney Sweeney controversy. In other words it's a joke.

So continue wearing your double denim all you like. Own it be proud of it. Who cares if most people don't wear it as well. You enjoy what you enjoy. But while you're wearing your double denim try not to be offended by jokes or memes. It's not that serious.

Sorry you were offended 🙏🏻

I was actually just trying to figure out your post and it's reference to Canada, that's all, because none of it made sense to me, even as a joke or meme.

I don't own double denim nor have I ever seen double denim for sale anywhere in Canada, nor have I ever seen anyone in Canada who wore double denim in all my years here on earth.

So your reference to Canada and double denim is definitely not a Canadian thing at all, but I believe double denim is closer to an American thing since Sydney and you and American Eagle Jeans company are all American-made in one way or another and all of you seem to be more familiar with double denim than anyone else, anywhere else in the world where I've frequently travelled to.

Definitely no offense taken, but I think you've got your countries of double denim reference mixed up in your perception of where you think double denim is typically worn.
KentuckyFriedFloozy · 26-30, F
@swirlie it's typically called the Canadian tuxedo. It's well known.

Now whether that's actually a thing popular in Canada I can't attest to. But double denim is called a Canadian tuxedo.

Maybe it's because denim is worn a lot In Canada?

I don't know but I was saying sorry Canada based on the Canadian tuxedo reference only.

The "Canadian tuxedo" is something that Lilymoon came up with for the benefit of your post. I've never heard the expression "Canadian tuxedo" until Lilymoon mentioned it herself, which means it's not well known beyond this thread, which also means it isn't typical either, contrary to your perception that it is.

I don't know why you'd feel the need to say "sorry" based on the Canadian tuxedo reference, because you made your post BEFORE Lilymoon actually added that statement of her's TO your post...

I mean, you're turning backwards on yourself already! Your post came first, then her tuxedo remark came second!

Again the question keeps looming, why did you feel the need to say "Sorry Canada" when double denim is not even a thing in Canada?

I'm just wondering, maybe "Sorry USA" would be more appropriate for your storyline... since American Eagle and American Sydney Sweeney are flogging that double denim outfit in American-owned retail outlets for the benefit of American audiences? Just sayin'... 🤷🏼‍♀

@swirlie first time you heard it. It's a popular thing. Jimbo isn't the only one who commented Canadian tuxedo. Look at the comments again. Multiple people did.

Seems to be a thing I'm not making up. Hmmmm

Yet again terribly sorry you didn't agree with or understand the meme. But it is what it is. You can't just claim it's not a known thing.

Double denim is known as a CANADIAN TUXEDO. Facts

It's a meme. Nobody is attacking you personally. Stop being defensive.

It's not a war on your country or Tim Hortons.

@KentuckyFriedFloozy I'm in South Africa, and even I know it's called a Canadian Tuxedo. I first heard it in Supertroopers, and that movie was made in the early 2000s
KentuckyFriedFloozy · 26-30, F
@basilfawlty89 it's a common thing.

Were you mentored by Professor Donald J. Trump of the world renowned 'Trump University' by chance?
KentuckyFriedFloozy · 26-30, F
@swirlie nah. Didn't vote for him. Don't like him. I graduated from University of Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in psychology.

But what does that have to do with anything?

Doesn't change the fact it's a common term used and multiple people know what Canadian tuxedo is. You're only upset because you're wrong and you know it. You only decided to jump in and argue in the first place because the title of the post said "Sorry Canada" and you took offense.

You're bad at this arguing thing but you sure like to do it often on people's posts. Shoo now swirlie one. I'm done playing..... Shoo shoo.

Have a good life. ✌🏻
