Why is a completed building not called a 'built'? 馃

The confusion comes from the fact that building can be both a noun and a verb. During the construction phase it is a verb, "The act of building" after completion it becomes the Noun. Escort is another word with such properties, You can escort someone to their seat (verb) or you can work as an "Escort" (noun) EP use to flag either of those uses because they thought it the noun.
