I Have Random Thoughts

I don't think that having pride in ones country is always a good thing . Especially ,when you're just following it blindly and going with things that aren't always good for it just because it's where you are from . I don't think many people think about the ramifications of their actions on how it will affect others in the long run .

I still can't understand or accept that our choice will be Trump or Hillary. These are both horrible people. Is this really the best we can do?

You have to separate things at times.
I love my Country, but not very proud that Trump has gotten as far as he has.
It makes me sad that we would do that to ourselves.

I agree Jingoism is no good, look where it has led other countries in the past (ww2 Germany) - and even Russia today...they have a kleptocracy... and to go along with it makes us complicit...you should be able to proud of where the country came from (I am) and where it is going (ugh)
