I Have Random Thoughts

Sometimes I feel like I'm too hard on people when they make mistakes. Well, when they make silly mistakes that shouldn't really be made. And, I shouldn't be. The thing is, I know that when people make mistakes, they need to learn from them. If I don't point on their mistakes and explain why they're wrong, how are they going to learn from it and prevent it from happening again in the future? Sometimes I can be short tempered and I usually tend to be hard on people when I'm explaining their mistakes to them... Especially when their mistakes effect me personally. I shouldn't be like that. Yes, I should continue to point out peoples errors, but I should do it in a calmer and less irritated way. This way they get the experience that they need, but don't get their feelings hurt in the process. Not that I insult them or anything, but you can definitely sense the irritation in my words.

It's a hard transition for me to make, but I'll work on it for sure. :)

I have a saying, 'if you don't do stupid things, you wouldn't have to apologise so often.' I have watched people do the same thing over and over with the same result, as if they can't believe it will happen again. Sometimes I feel your pain.
I'm completely the opposite. I'm harder on myself. It's ok when others make mistakes but God forbid I not be perfect.

Yes. People do need to learn from their mistakes BUT...other people need to learn to offer a bit of grace, patience and compassion.

Do you ever make mistakes?

@GeniUs .. Yes, I make mistakes. Everyone does. But I'm talking about the people who make really stupid mistakes that shouldn't be made due to common sense and rule following..
