I Have Random Thoughts

Ask yourself this: When it comes to the things that you REALLY believe, with utter conviction - do you have that level of conviction in those beliefs because you've questioned them, and allowed others to question them, and they've truly stood the twin tests of time and challenge? Or are you sure of them because you've never questioned them in the first place?

I think in order to have a conviction we have to question. Without thought and a decision making process we will simply drift from idea to idea. "Why" questions are extremely important.

Heh - in order to have a conviction that's actually *built on something*, you have to ask "why" questions, but if you're cool with having convictions built on ego and air, then you don't need to ask any questions at all. In my experience, the latter is at least as common as the former (and that's me being extremely statistically generous).

I question everything. I wanted to be certain that I wasn't holding to traditional things, to fit in with friends, or because I was "supposed to."
I have a lot of changes to make, but I am doing what works for me, and it feels right; I am at peace with my decision now,so it's worth it. :)

@SBelle: awww, you did? I am spending Sundays with my girls from church now; it's refreshing. How was your Superbowl party?
@ZenLioness: It was great all except that one woman kept trying to talk to me while GAGA was on😒 my team won and I was the only Pats fan in the house😁

@SBelle: hehehee! Good for you 🤗
I boldly ask too many questions here irl.😕

That's a good thing. Without questions, how would we know the answers? More importantly, how would we learn, or grow, as people?
@ZenLioness: exactly
