Can’t go wrong with authentic Indian food. It is one of my favorites. Sadly my favorite restaurant’s cook was a woman from India. The foods were so well-prepared and delicious. She retired and the owner hired 2 Mexican cooks to take her place. The food is no longer authentic and well-prepared. I ate there once after she left and had. Heartburn all night long. Didn’t happen when the Indian lady was cooking. I think she used a lot of ginger in the curries. I can eat hot foods if it has enough ginger in it. Now I get my curry fix by eating or cooking Thai curries with coconut milk. So healthy for me to eat.

@AngelKrish I have cancer, had colon cancer two years ago and had a year of treatments and then cancer surgeries to remove the tumors. It returned in the summer and I am undergoing chemo again. What helped me with my appetite last time when I had lost 65 pounds and was wasting away was that I was craving spicy food again. I had been going to a small Thai restaurant and eating Coconut Chicken Soup (Tom Kha) and it was easy to digest and tasted so good to me. This was after chemo started. About 2 months later I was so hungry for spicy foods and Indian food. I went to the Thai restaurant with our grandson and bought 2 lunch specials for us. Pad Thai noodles, veggie spring roll, a small spicy red curry with coconut milk and a side of stir fried chicken and veggies. That curry helped my appetite so much much I started eating it every week and I started gaining some of my weight back. My husband would go get it for me some days. It was like a medicine for me.

@AngelKrish I will be online often I think. I feel better than last time, still have treatments to go for months but I feel very hopeful now. Thank you so much. My husband was diagnosed with cancer two weeks before this last time I was diagnosed. We are fighting our cancers together. He is feeling well so far too. We eating a lot of healthy vegetables and other dishes and I think that is making a great difference. I have a genetic counselor from India, she is a doctor and trying to get me matched up with a med that will target the tumors and tear them apart so they can’t grow including the stem cells. If I have a match on the tumor’s DNA and it matches with the med I will be able to get it. She is from India and I told her how the curries helped me get my appetite back and regain a good portion of the lost weight and I would continue eating it about once a week to keep up my appetite and strength. Oh we talked quite a bit about that and the importance of eating these healthy foods to assist healing from cancer. I really like that doctor.

Physically or entirely? If just physically, I'd do what I do now. If entirely, idk, I guess I'd take anything appropriate for me offered around.
