Thanks for sharing, hope that guy has a wake up call someday, if the US is to heal from these times, those kinds of people are gonna have to have a deeply humiliating process to go through.

@GemApelJeff I'm not so sure they can if they're narcissistic, they won't have the ability to see their actions as wrong even if they know on some level if not consciously. I say if they were as I don't know this of course but I think maga is a personality issue at this point

@Elisbch The reason I say personality issue is because I've long since felt that the phenomenon of karenism (I wish there was a different word for it,) at least when they feel slighted is in reality NPD at least for some people. I think the rest could be dealing with trauma or manage stress poorly but it seems that they have some of the strongest traits.

The narcissist sees a slight that they perceived as being against them even though it may not have been and I believe the temper tantrum you see is actually a narcissistic injury which explains their reactions most of the time. Narc injuries make them aggressive and unpredictable because they feel like they have to rush to defend some invisible insult to them.

Yes, I agree with your analysis 100%.. Karenism and Narcissism seem to overlap imho. tRump definitely wakes up these two traits in people. I think these kind are always looking for that someone to come along and validate their ideology and entitlement. I think you nailed it. The unfortunate part is,.. it seems to be impossible to reach a narcissist. And Narcissism will continue to breed more Narcissism.... (in my experience).
This Society as a whole seems to be so more engulfed in that than I had previous thought. 😔
