Yes. When I was 16 I saw people with money living what I thought were happier lives. They didn't agonize over bills, they didn't have to worry about surviving to payday, they did't have to deny buying "A" because they had to save up to buy "B". Car troubles didn't translate into cancelled trips to the beach, etc., etc., etc.
But later I discovered that all of the above problems were really a lack of inner peace and not a lack of money.
