Why is it that women's pj pants normally don't have pockets, but men's usually do?

There can be only 2 logical answers lol -
1. So that the guy can sneak a cookie to bed and sleep happily in case the Mrs. Is having a head ache. Lol.
2. To fit a wallet. Imagine how funny would a pocket the size of a hand bag would look on a pj. Hahaha
