Next year I will be 60 years old.

Damn it.At that rate it will be 5 more years until I am officially considered a senior citizen. It's bad enough on my hospital paperwork they have me classed as an elderly male soon it will be oh so official. Seeing that on my paperwork made me want to shoot laser beams from my eyes.

You’re actually officially a senior citizen at 55. 65 is when you get on Medicare.

@SW-User No wonder they put elderly on my paperwork. I thought they were just being rude.

@SW-User probably best to check the plans policy on resuscitation in the event of admition for sudden illness or accident too !

@SW-User been reading recently how some medical plans and hospitals in America either specifically indicate a DNR policy in their paperwork for patients over a certain age if trouble occurs during an operation.
Or it appears as an addendum when patients are asked to re-draw their medical insurance forms as a result of their age.
