I wish I was better friends with the people I went to school with.

I kinda wish I was better friends with the people I went to school with, I have a lot of good memories from back then. It'd be nice to have more people to share memories and reminisce with. Everybody from back then just seems to have changed, gone their own way in life or just overall doesn't care about that sort of thing.

Your school days are the best years of your life

I never gave much thought to it.
It sounds like something your Grandparents might say looking back on their lives.
But the older I get the more it seems to be true
