I Can Not Take Money For Writing

While I think it’s a nice sentiment, commodifying SW so that we can make a few bucks— I ethically can’t take money for anything I write here.

I hope there is a way we can opt out of this completely.

write because you want to. if you get something back from that? it will be a reflection, that what you write is meaningful

but given the population here, no one will get more than a few dollars.

@SatyrService financial incentive could grow it but I think on YouTube you have to reach about 100,000 views or subscriptions before there is a commercial benefit. Which makes sense really because they wouldn’t want to be messing around with sending everyone $1

@SatyrService There is a clarity and purity in writing in a noncommercial context. There a bunches of online literary magazines just like that. You actually pay a fee for an editor to evaluate your work. I enjoyed this being like that.
