It makes so much sense that I don’t get along with sales and marketing people ( Just writing my random thoughts )

I’m so used to believe exactly the opposite of what they believe and do exactly the opposite of what they do, not only as my daily job but also in everything I do in my personal life.

Rather than trying to impress or oversell, I do my best to surprise in the long run, and never leave anyone with unmet expectations.

This is not only about working on quality but more about accurately managing expectations to a degree that can often sound like I’m trying to undersell.

I can never say “This product will make you happy” when documenting any software product of mine. Instead, I must be very realistic and accurate when describing what it does exactly.

I don’t mean I’m better than Sales people. Well, they can obviously do what I totally suck at, which is to sell anything. And this is not always about lying or making void promises. It can also be an art

Maybe I need to learn more from sales people

Sales people be like "this product will change your life. It will make your dick bigger, you will get a six pack and it will do all your work for you. It's literally the best printer you can buy."
