Is there a human right to democracy in the USA?

The United Nations claims that human rights include the right to participate in a democracy.
Is that true even in the USA?
Can conservatives cancel my right to democracy by claiming not to believe in it? Or by saying that the United Nations isn't really real, either?

Here’s a guide. There is no such thing as a right that requires the services of other people.

@redredred most other people certainly don't see it that way. The majority believe that every right implies responsibilities.
Where did you get your idea that people can be free of responsibility to respect human rights?

@Stopmakingsense I said nothing about responsibility. What I said is, there is no such thing as a right that OBLIGATES someone else. For example, You have no right to healthcare. You have the right to seek healthcare.

@redredred but a a responsibility is the same thing as an obligation. There are government obligations and personal ones. Sometimes government obligations cost money.
