They need you as much as you need them.

Ask for better work
Ask for better designation.
Ask for better pay.
If you don't then they think you are desperate for a job and incapable of cracking a interview.

People do seem to be paid less than they’re worth as of lately. Even if my experience is the opposite viewing my peers being paid more than their worth. People deserve decent pay.
