People think that by switching which political party is in power, they'll make things better. But any system where narcissists like Trump and Hillary are the ones who win the primaries is a system that's broken at its core.
If people want to understand the other side better, then there's only one way - let go of needing your side to be right, and genuinely consider *both* sides of the issues, and use that to decide what you think, instead of twisting everything to support the dogma of what you already believe - what you've probably always believed, because it's what you were spoon-fed as a kid - and never taken the time to question.
