The Past Returns [I Have A Random Thought]

Sometimes the past gets in our way. We trip, stumble and fall. We make excuses or rationalizations about “why” or “why not”, “can’t or cannot.” Nothing gets accomplished. Silence ensues. Tears fall like rain. And unlike the aftermath of a storm where a rainbow appears, often a rainbow fails to appear for us when the past rears its ugly head and we just let it get in our way.
