"And if ever we meet again, I hope you finally understood the reasons why I left you. I hope you finally got the grip about why I have to let you go and know that it will only get things worse if I stayed. I hope you reassembled your torn self again and accept that I never left you without a reason. I hope soon you will thank me for detaching our strings and leaving you with mendable damage. I always told you I can’t force myself in things that were no longer making me happy. I didn’t want to give false love and I didn’t want to force myself to feel what’s no longer there.

Maybe someday when we meet again, you will thank me for letting you go. Maybe soon, I will thank myself for following what my heart wanted me to do. I never saved myself alone. I saved us —separately.”
