"Having a life" is often defined as acquiring new experiences. The conundrum is in labeling it as a good life or a bad life.

The Covid-19 is certainly giving me new experiences but I cannot call it having a good life.

I like this definition.@jim44444 I would add, it’s also having the same experiences, or engaging in routine activities that you enjoy, that stimulate your mind. Either/or, I suppose. Whatever rocks your boat, and makes you feel alive rather than existing.
