I Have Random Thoughts

I let my boyfriend borrow my laptop so he can send out job applications. It's brand new and I've never had a single problem with it but now it's running slow. This was the most expensive thing I've ever bought myself, excluding my car, and I'm unreasonably sad about this 😭

Thankfully, the concept of wear and tear applies very differently to computers. The hardware is likely just fine. And the software can always be fixed. In worst case scenarios, via a wipe+reinstall, but no matter what, you if you want it badly enough, you can always bring it back to running as new.

*Macbook Pros need regular (yearly) disassembly and vacuuming, and I eventually had to mod mine for heat dissipation. Apple just can't seem to get heat management right, or at least, in line with my priorities.
