I Have Random Thoughts

How important is for you to feel productive? I feel that on some days posting here a couple of things, which are likely to be read just by a few friends, is the only productive thing I do in the whole day. And it makes me feel guilty.

I know there is no reason for this feeling. Being productive is something ingrained in most of us, in many cases as the contrary of being selfish.

If I had children, I doubt I would have this feeling. Everything you do for your children is productive. Maybe that's the reason why people have children?

I think the term productive is slave talk, with all due respect. We are indoctrinated at a young age to produce and comply.

I think the bigger question is who am I? Question everything, especially the normie bs. And raise your vibration.

@Peaceful I agree with you. Productive and useful are really loaded words.

Where the medieval peasant worked in his field, he did not think of being productive. He thought it was what he had to do to raise his family.

The same way, when the medieval monk copied some manuscript, he did it out of an internal need, he felt compelled to do it.

Productive today means doing something that can be exchanged for something else. It is a cursed word.
