It thundered for so many minutes straight, I was a bit concerned it was going to get nasty.
And now the sun is shining, after 30 mins of thunder and rain.

Does the universe have moodswings?

Mixed feelings about thunderstorms. My wife and son came close to being killed by lightening once and my mother was terrified by them, but I find them therapeutic. I once drove from Northern Ireland to Vienna just to prove I could do it. Got lost and totally bogged down in all kinds of ways in rural France. As soon as I crossed the border into Germany there was the most colossal thunderstorm I've ever experienced. All traffic on the autobahn had to stop due to the torrential rain. It really was like Wagner welcoming me to Gotterdammerung.
