I Have Random Thoughts

Online connections can be strange at times.
You meet someone, start chatting and you both feel an instant connection, a certain chemistry. Conversation flows easily, you talk, you laugh, you may even flirt effortlessly and you "get" each other. Sometimes these instant connections evolve into lasting friendships or relationships, sometimes they fizzle out and that person fades from you inbox and your life.
Other times the connection slowly builds over time. You talk, get to know one another and the more you know about that person, the more you appreciate them. These will usually withstand the test of time better and will more often than not evolve into lasting friendships that will occasionally cross over into "real life".

Had a friend in the US I chatted to for 7 years last year I travelled from Australia to meet him and his family and never heard from them again , sometimes it works sometimes not , but we were good friends for that 7 years , it was sad to loose that friendship but we move on , best of luck.

It hurts when they simply fade into silence instead of taking the time to say goodbye and explain why they need to move on.
