I’m not in love with you anymore. I had to force myself out of it and it was dreadful. It felt like I was pulling knives out of my heart. I hate having these flashbacks of you. How your brown eye glimmered In the city sunset. How your smile lit up the starless night sky. I have to let you go. You “moved” on but I can read your mind through the screen and you know it. You helped me realize that my words have meaning and how much you loved it when I wrote to you. You helped me realize that I can get close to someone again and I hate it that our lives had to move in different directions. Your name is always going to be in my heart.
