I wonder where the “it’s illegal to drive with indoor carlights on” rumour started.

My family told me it all the time.

I was shocked when I found out it was a myth. lol

My parents told me that for years. My mom turned on my light one night while I was driving post a cop and I got so mad that she'd risk me getting in trouble. She just laughed like crazy and said it was a lie they'd told us as kids so we wouldn't forget to turn the lights off and kill the battery overnight.
