@AshaKenyatta Indeed. And these are often the same folks who say, when black people want to discuss history, “can’t you people forget about it ?”
The desire to hang onto that flag (which only exists because part of the country seceded and went to war to preserve an economy based upon owning other human beings) proves they don’t want to forget.
They just want it remembered like “Gone With The Wind”. They want us to think of it that way, too.
And that’s just not reasonable.
