I Have Random Thoughts

Do you ever think about those "almost relationships"? The ones where you meet someone, click, feelings start to develop and then it just stops. It's over before it even had the chance to begin. What could have been isn't and never will be. It leaves you with longings you never knew you had, aching for kisses you've never tasted and a touch that never came and you end up feeling more alone for having tried to escape the loneliness.

And yet... Looking back you can't help but smile as you remember the way he made you feel, that euphoric high, those stars in your eyes, that silly, happy grin... And as you struggle to let go of the hopes and the dreams, the memories remain, forever present, forever cherished.
