val70 Dietrich Bonhoeffer's perspective on why God allows evil, particularly as expressed in his work Ethics, emphasizes that evil is concrete and specific, requiring the active, responsible actions of individuals in the face of it, rather than a focus on theoretical justifications for God's permitting it.
Fascinating. Doesn't explain why God permits it.

MamaButterflyGod allows us to suffer, so we may find salvation in Him.
I'm sure that's such a comfort to rаре victims, especially the children, knowing that they were allowed to be traumatized beyond what most people can even comprehend in order to help people to believe in God. I'm certain that people who are literally starving to death as you read this sentence will find it to be such a joy to know that the prolonged agony they have endured at the hands of their fellow humans is all so that people can become Christians.
God is not to blame for the suffering that happens in this world.
That would only be the case if he were powerless to prevent it. Is that what you're saying? Is he powerless?
Is it easier for you to blame God for the suffering of the Jews because Hitler killed over 2million Jews.
You people always assume I blame God. How in the world could I blame someone who is incapable of doing anything?
