Plug type in US and Canada, ever seen this?

Those in the US or Canada, ever seen such a plug type where one pin is bigger than the other?!! This will never fit in any adapter i have for US plug type .. is this a faulty product or what exactly..🤷‍♀️



What sort of adapter such pins will fit in!!! I havr this one for US/Canada plug type but of course it won't fit since one pin is bigger than the othe .. so mad

Yes, it has become common for one pin to be larger than the other in the US. It was not always the case, but the purpose is to make sure your device is properly grounded when you plug it in.

@DrWatson Ah! I just sent an angry meaaage to the seller on amazon for their faulty device lol wtf i researched this not even sure what type of plug is this in order to buy the adapter 🤷‍♀️

@BittersweetPotato And we also have 3-pronged plugs. For example, my cord for recharging my laptop has a plug like this:

But the one with wider pin I've never seen .. i am yet to research it to be able to find an adapter
