I am so proud of us!

We turned TEXAS BLUE!

Texas elected a Democrat, WOMAN, who is of Mexican descent .....

Michigan elected ABDUL....

IOWA ELECTED A YOUNG democrat as Governor!

I am feeling hope that I have not felt in a long while.

Good job, everyone! Good job!

Georgia elected their first black woman (first woman in fact) as governor.

Yes! Total oversight on my part! I was very shocked at Texas.

Thank you for bringing this to attention!

@JaggedLittlePill My cousins in Atlanta were texting me last night. Lots of happy people there.

There's a lot of work ahead of us, but I'm still on a high from the election results...

It's so good to see.

We cleaned out the top levels of Texas state government. Ann Richards and Barbara Jordan would be proud.

Watching Talarico tangle with the Hobby Lobby Christians is always fun. They say something and Talarico cracks open his Bible. He goes straight to what ever they're quoting, reads it aloud, and explains it. Things like feeding hungry children and treating foreigners with respect and dignity.

The governor-elect is aware of this state's brain drain.

Yeah. Was not really holding out much hope, but things turned out better than I expected.
