I wonder how many people tried this vanlife thing and screwed thier life up.

I think its kind of funny how alot of the world has a homeless problem where people are struggling to get by,
then you see this van life trend with ritch people glorifying being homeless.

They claim to never have to work and can provide for themselves yet drive across the country, have a steak for super and able to get 2000 worth of maintaince parts to fix mechanical issues just out of thin air.

No fishing, no crops, still relying on money and society behind the scenes.

That kind of "van lifer" is the one you see because you're glued to them on social media wishing you were rich enough to do the same.

As someone who was actually out there, there is a lot of good you can do and kindness you can give.

There's a very wide range of people who choose/have no choice but, nomadic living and we all lived side by side on public land. Nobody was above or below anyone. I gave away a lot of food and water in exchange for local tips and hiking buddies.

I don't think you have any understanding of what that life is actually like. It's not like what you're oogling on Instagram. And even if rich people want to be nomadic and explore, who cares?

I have to admit it does appeal to me ...the freedom of it but then there's the reality of other things.. I could be a part time van lifer ...don't think I could realistically do it fulltime

Social influencers .. they get money from people watching their videos .. that one girl died doing it her bf killed her or something then his family faked his dental records so he could get by with it.. that’s my conspiracy theory anyway i don't trust them at all 😒
