Omg texting people sometimes gets nowhere.

I said hope next week will be better. Not be on the phones too much anymore and we can take good care and start concentrating on ourselves and be more productive.

I thought he got that. It was pretty obvious what I meant.

His reply was yeah hope to get better and the weather is good too.

Do you think he even read my message? I feel like he doesn't want to change it is so frustrating. Then when I bring up the phones he puts it all back on me that I'm at fault. I don't even have my phone anymore when I'm with him.

This discussion is likely best for face-face. Kids in bed, open a bottle of wine and/or a dessert or something to share and talk to one another. Make eye contact .. maybe hold hands or cuddle a bit. The two of you finding common ground on what to do different for both your needs .. not fault w each other.
